I dinged a stock rim the other day, not bad, going to get it repaired, however..... the car is a 50th LE Kona Blue, replacing those rims is nearly impossible so that being said I'm leaning toward taking the stock rims off and storing in the barn and getting a new set of rims/tires for daily stuff. I keep bouncing back and forth on the color/size for aftermarket rims. because of all the chrome trim bits on the car I think Silver, Chrome, or gunmetal are the way to go... however, my son being a youngster and all wants straight up black (matte or gloss)

personally I think these would look great on that car, but of course the boy doesn't like silver

where he would probably want something like this:
r&color=7,21,78&gloss=64&rs=c.251.24.17...e...39...jpg

I think this could be a good compromise wheel between black and silver:
r&color=7,21,78&gloss=64&rs=c.251.24.17...e...39...jpg

will install a staggered set since it's not seeing track duty, probably 10-11's in the rear, 9-10 up front? still on the fence about 19 or 20" diameter

y'all got any other ideas that might look great on this car?? right now it has not been lowered, but probably will be over winter but it will be a mild drop, 1" or less

It’s all a matter of personal taste, but I think the SVE MHP1 in gloss graphite would look great with Kona Blue. And I’m a black wheel fan. LMR has some good options and the price is really good for a lighter flow formed wheel. Project 6GR also has really nice wheels for a good price (they offer a forum discount as an FYI).

Sounds like you are the registered owner. My suggestion would be to put the rims you want on it. I have no doubt your son will drive it. Then when he gets the dinero together to buy it from you, let him put whatever rims he wants on it and sell the rims that are on it.

Personally, I like black. But that is exactly why there are only about 10 million choices when it comes to wheels.

yeah, i am the registered owner, but it's mostly 'his' car. I like black wheels also, just not on that car because of the chrome trim bits around the windows and taillights and etc. I think it would feel off-balance with that. black chrome, gunmetal would probably be a good look tho

I have the Steeda Trident in gloss titanium. Not as light as silver but lighter than black or gray. They come in 19x10 and 19x11.

found these over at LMR, we both kinda like this look. I think the bronze look is underrated and black wheels (and murdered out look) have been overdone.

I love the look of the GT350 wheels and have had my eye on something like this for a while now. Probably in 2 summers once I wear off the tires on my PP1 rims.

Love the black rims on a blue pony.
