My wife thinks I'm crazy, and wonders why I speed up under an overpass when there is traffic in front of me and the light is red...every single time. lol That sound.... :eyebulge:

It's funny, just reading this thread and thinking about the sound makes me giddy like a little schoolgirl... lmao. Makes me want to park the work truck get the GT 350 out and go play. I should've been a racecar driver!

My wife says it's a harsh ride (some craps about her back and breast...lol), but digs the exhaust note.

I too am smiling while reading this thread. Not as big of a smile as when I am riding the crackle. My wife loves the ride and sound.

This weekend I took an elderly family member home from a party in the Shelby. When we got to her house, she started to get out and said this thing rides rough, next time just pick me up in a Jeep, it would be a better ride. LOL. She was half serious and half joking. I think. I don't think she enjoyed the car.

Not a single person in my entire family likes my car, including my wife. My dad says he's embarrassed to ride in my car, says it "sounds like it's dying" in regards to the crackling  I ran up to redline through an underpass, and he covered both of his ears. That got me crying from laughing so hard, because he's more than half deaf and can't hear most of the time.

Everyone in my family loves mine. My dad gets a little cranky when I run the shit out of it with him in it but that's because we are on the street. He raced on the track in this... He's 82 now.

There are so many ways to engage as the driver in these things - ridin' the crackle is just one of them - that I'm constantly amusing myself in it (as my wife, who think's I've never matured beyond 16, likes to say).

As for tunnels or underpasses, just makes the crackle even sweeter.

"Hi, I'm Muligan, and I'm addicted to crackle." Admitting you have a problem is the first step on the long road towards recovery. Gotta hit the road for a little more therapy.
