RHD 2016 Mustang Heading for export (Pics)

I don't think that car is destined for the UK... no headlight washers.
Our MOT rules say -Headlamps. Vehicles fitted with High Intensity Discharge (HID) and LED light sources will have a new reason for rejection, "A mandatory headlamp levelling or cleaning device missing, inoperative or otherwise obviously defective.

In other words any car fitted with Xenon/HID/LED lights has to have to be self levelling along with having a wash system.

Okay these pics received so much action I figured you guys & gals would like to see the rest I took that day, so enjoy :ford: Spotted this in MI heading to Europe.

Go to the Dock or the Train Station wherever that thing was goin', Follow that beast all the way and take more photos, way more. The bonnet release, the DRL's the grill, the tail lights, the God Damn mirrors, the seats, the stitching on the dash, dammit even the back seats, take pics man, heaps of pics. You struck Gold , Gold I say!!!!!!!

Actually now that I think of it, it's time we entered the Mission Impossible Phase, (cue Music)!!
All the UK 6G'ers will have to take shifts now at 6 hour intervals at the Docks in anticipation of the arrival of THE CAR!!!. What is the Most Likely POINT of DESTINATION of this RHD phantom? London, Portsmouth, Manchester? Reading? I'm just guessing , I have never been to the UK. Can we get some kind of Top Gear Roster sorted, maybe Clarkson can help since he no longer is employed.
When it get's there you will have to take the rest of the photos as mentioned above that thanks to RBS we will now be able to Add to.

My guess is that Southampton is the likely port of entry for the UK vehicles, as this is the main export point for Honda, Toyota, Nissan, BMW and so on for export vehicles, so they have lots of parking spaces and good experience in loading & unloading. Remember the car transport a couple of months ago full of mini's, etc. that "fell over" after leaving port?

I live a few miles from the port but don't often go past it... my Ford Store is just a few miles from the port as well, so I wonder if they might get their deliveries first!

You can find the port movements at: http://www.southamptonvts.co.uk/liv...s_and_cruise_ship_schedule/planned_movements/ so if we know the name of the ship leaving the US then we can track it and see where it ends up.... I would guess it would drop off the RHD in the UK and then continue to Hamburg or Zeebrugge or wherever for the LHD drop offs...

For example, that link shows two ships bound for the Baltimore in a couple of days - could that be the export point for Ford?

VW use 3 ports depending on where the cars are destined for in the country - North is Port of Tyne (about 15 minutes from me), South is Sheerness & in the middle is Grimsby

Renault/Nissan (including Infiniti & Dacia) use Port of Tyne

I believe Ford may use Southampton. Years ago when i imported my old Corvette that came into Felixstowe

I was under the same impression, but I was informed recently that it only applies to lights of a certain brightness (lumens). If this is true, and Ford have reduced the brightness of the headlamps, it may also explain why the LED gills are "removed" for the non-US cars :shrug:

For a vehicle to be transported from Flat Rock to the US port that Flat Rock will use, which in this case will most likely be Baltimore to the port of Southampton, it roughly takes 10 days using this website http://www.searates.com/reference/portdistance/. So if these pictures were take on the 12th and say it went on the boat the next day 13th, you are looking at a date around 20th for it to arrive.

You are correct it was heading west, I tried to get as many pictures as I could they were already gassed up and on a tight schedule ready to go. They were nice enough to open the door for a few more pics. Also they said it was heading to O`Hare Airport to be put on a plane to somewhere in Europe so if it went by plane it may already be there somewhere. Keep us updated when it gets spotted again.

Based on the additional photos on page 1 I'd say the bonnet release is on the left hand side. No big deal for me; my wife's Focus has it there as well.

Those LOWER buttons on the Steering Wheel is for CLEANING your
Finger Nails in a tight turn. WHO DESIGNS THIS STUPID SHIT?

You are forgetting that this is a PRE-Production Vehicle - and many items in this vehicle will not be indicative of the final Production car. For example, the RHD center console was probably not yet available when this car was hand assembled.
