In the UK I think we get the PP as standard, so it may be to do with that.It looks like both RHD 'verts have the PP wheels to me. That package is not normally offered on the 'vert, correct?

I have heard that the performance package will be standard all over Europe, however it seems that the "Euro" units seen son far do not fit the dash center gauges. Likewise, the dash surface is the polished aluminum for the "premium" trim level in the States, not the machine-turned one. Same with the two convertibles seen above. No gauges at all...In the UK I think we get the PP as standard, so it may be to do with that.
That explains the hood release on the passenger side...Ford of Australia contracted with Tickford Vehicle Engineering to convert several hundred Mustangs to RHD for the local market in the early 2000s. The cars were shipped from the Dearborn factory with steering wheel on the left and converted in Australia.
So basically Ford think us Europeans like a rock-hard ride. Great. Could be worse but it's all price dependant.I have heard that the performance package will be standard all over Europe, however it seems that the "Euro" units seen son far do not fit the dash center gauges. :tsk:
We quite like black wheels in the UK and maybe Europe, so I wouldn't worry about that. We're used to bigger mirrors to the point that I at least don't notice. And obviously most will be coupes and not white.Sorry , but in my opinion that is the sorriest looking thing I have seen to date. reminds me of a 70's beater that lost it's wheel covers with blackwall tires. But wait there's more this beauty costs $6,000.00 more than the GT Coupe. What more could you ask for?
I am with you on the rear light and price concerns. We quite like black wheels in the UK and maybe Europe, so I wouldn't worry about that. We're used to bigger mirrors to the point that I at least don't notice. And obviously most will be coupes and not white.
The only slight concern us tail light colour and price.
No problem my friend. Love to take you up on the fish and chips. I will extend the invitation for a burger and fries on this side of the pond.Mate, I think if you saw most of my posts you would see my British sense of humour is present all the time. My fish and CHIPS and crisps quota are actually poking fun at our differences, just as the right and wrong side of the road thing!
And btw way. I have spelt the word humour correctly, why is it underlined in red? How can I get proper English spell checker on ths forum.
My invite for fish n CHIPS stands still.
Sig556, just $6.000 more seems really optimistic. Bearing in mind customs duties and taxation, we expect that recommended retail price may increase about €15,000 over the MSRP in US (that is almost $20.000 more). GT Coupe may be somewhere around $68.000.Sorry , but in my opinion that is the sorriest looking thing I have seen to date. reminds me of a 70's beater that lost it's wheel covers with blackwall tires.
