Would one of our American owners have a look at the interior picture of this RHD mule and see if you can tell which stalks are on which side of the steering wheel?

ie; is the indicator stalk on the right side of the wheel?

Thanks.

I have a sneaky suspicion the stalks have been changed. That looks very like the wiper stalk on the LHS of the steering wheel.

Great if they have changed it!!

I am wondering. RHD Ford cars do not switch the e brake and cup holders like other car companies? My sons EVO had the e brake on the right side.

Another request; does that look like the hood release on the drivers side (far right of shot at the bottom of the dash)?

Thanks again.

Christ! That's mine! Hang on! I went for a manual :D

I suspect it's a test mule as they are not supposed to start producing the RHDs until September.
It'll be July/August for RHD production since we're getting the MY2015 not MY2016 & they're starting LHD MY2016 in August?
In the UK we're looking at deliveries starting in November, have been told from gate release its 12 weeks shipping so that puts production early August.

I hope!

Finally pleased to see RHD pictures though

The Mustang GT retails at about ÂŁ34k..........so about $53k
Correction, its ÂŁ33,005 with fees. :)

Base MSRP would be the OTR price minus VED (ÂŁ1100), Registration (ÂŁ50), License Plates (ÂŁ55), Delivery (ÂŁ700 seems to be the standard for Europe) and the 20% sales tax, in that order.

Depending on exchange rate at the exact moment you're calculating it, before tax we're paying anywhere between $36,000 to $41,000 for the car "off-the-lot".

A Mustang GT with Performance Pack in the USA, plus auto transmission (which is $1195 on other trim grades), is $40,815. We're getting a good deal.

Mustang waiting list
Aus $64200 on road for the v8
$50000 (I think) for the twin turbo

Delivery time somewhere between November and January 2016 (if you have already placed a deposit)

As far as specs - very similar to euro GT pp Auto will have paddle shifters .... And yes dumbos side mirrors !

All that said - can't wait until it gets here - let the mods begin

Yeah, we get the PP with auto (minus Torsen diff) :p

But we also get:

No RHD centre console (not that I'd have drinks in my car, but the cupholders are useless for cups in this one!).....and the handbrake is a reach!

I'd not noticed that. That seems too easy to remedy for Ford to have not done that.

Tail lights look very odd, and the cup holders truly suck from the other side.
As I have thought since seeing it for the first time. THE REAR AND
THE INSIDE REALLY SUCK on the 2015 MUSTANG. IMO!
This right hand drive looks so UGLY, It matches the left hand drive
UGLY to me. IMO! Thank You!

Would someone with a US mustang have a close look at this photo and see if you think Ford has moved the bonnet / hood release to the right hand side of the vehicle.

What can I see at the far right of the lower dash?

I updated the first page with more photos I took that day, since I saw there was so much interest in this Mustang I couldn't not share what I had.:ford:

Based on the additional photos on page 1 I'd say the bonnet release is on the left hand side. No big deal for me; my wife's Focus has it there as well.
