Full bolt-on + E85 tuned gen 2 coyote. I feel like my shifts are pretty slow because the revs are not falling fast enough while shifting gears. If I shift too fast whether I am WOT or not, the car will buck forward and it will be a very rough shift. I usually have to wait for a good 1.5 seconds in between shifts when driving normally to keep the shift smooth. My diff ratio is 3.31 which I suspect might add to the issue since my RPMs have to drop a bit lower for most shifts than a 3.73 car will. I'm on stock transmission and clutch at 40,000 miles. I had recently driven my brother's full bolt-on cammed 392 challenger with a manual transmission and his revs dropped as soon as you let off the clutch so you could really shift fast. Would a new clutch and flywheel allow me to shift faster, or is this a tuning issue or something else?

A lighter flywheel will help but this is in your tune.

Those of us who know how to shift fast call it rev hang and hate it.

Yep...rev hang as K4fxd already said...I would also say something in your tune causing it. I don't have the stock clutch or flywheel anymore, but I don't recall having this issue on mine when I did. I also have 3.31 gears currently in my car and don't experience this now.
