Just a quick question, if I install a SW or Ford/Borla cat back exhaust will I be able to install LT headers later without hacking up the cat back? I noticed that SW sells two separate cat back systems based on whether or not I install headers or simply use the stock manifolds.

SW offers a factory connect option for their headers that will directly bolt to any Cat back system.

Yes, you can install Headers later down the road. Kooks, SW offer a direct connect, ARH offers the "bottleneck" system that requires you to alter your existing cat back.

Hope that helps

Thanks, I assumed this to be the case but the dual offerings from SW confused me. Do you happen to know whether or not ARH offers the same option?

Guess that answers that. Still can't decide which system to use but that would be a "me" problem. Probably down to ARH and SW at this point. Thanks for the responses!

Do you already have a cat back system installed?

Not yet. Getting a Roush supercharger installed soon and the tuner will only do it with a cat back at this time because of the tune.

My initial plan was the full ARH headers to tips but it appears I will need to wait on the long tubes till after the initial install.

ARH is a great choice, I ordered a full system. Is the tuners reason because of the suitcase, there is lethal performance resonator delete that would be inexpensive and would solve that issue. And you could get the ARH axle back in preparation for the ARH header long system

I've seen that. I think their primary fear is that they have not done it to their house car yet. They said probably 2-3 months before they would feel comfortable with the tune for the supercharger and full exhaust. I guess I will just go with the ARH cat back with the supercharger at this time. I feel good about the tuner, they did a lot of work on a friends Super Snake and Raptor and the work was top notch so I guess I'll take their word for it.
