:amen:This thread is entertaining. No car holds value even close to what people seem to think in this thread. IT's almost like people haven't seen what has happened in the car market the last 6-8 years.
Fully loaded GT premium for 37k out the door?? Where are you getting that number from? You can buy brand new fully loaded 16 for 37k out the door though. 32k trade in is most I'd think you'd ever get.
Wow, that's crazy they are selling them so cheaply. I wonder why. Definitely don't think that's the norm, and that sounds like it would even be under their cost. :shrug:Dealership in MD. Apple ford Lincoln. Not 100% fully loaded but GT premium with nav, PP 401 and ruby red paint and parking sensors. Msrp about 43k out the door for 37k. Listed price is 34,900. Brand new. They had another same options for 34,400 but must have just sold.
Sounds about right. I get $35,895 on that same car via Truecar buying service through penfed. And I know I could negotiate lower than the initial price they give.Wow, that's crazy they are selling them so cheaply. I wonder why. That's where I scored mine. $7K off sticker, and another $1000 in rebates, and even though I did have to spend $$$ to ship it, I still came out way better than trying to haggle locally - plus it was the EXACT car I wanted and I couldn't find another like it anywhere within 500 miles.I just checked out that Apple Ford in MD website, and they have a lot of 2016 GT's, and yeah most of them are going for $6500 - $6800 below MSRP. Wow, when did this happen? I always remember being *slightly better then X-plan as being the best people could do. These advertised prices are quite a bit better than X-plan without even haggling.
At these prices, these cars are a great deal, no doubt.
