My 2017 has been in the shop since Tuesday with a ticking/knocking sound. It has 8k miles on it and has never consumed oil. The sound just appeared one day
The dealership just told me that a Field Service Engineer is coming to look at it. It sound to me as if the dealership is out of ideas and Ford wants a more educated look at it before replacing the engine, or something.
Has anyone been this route with their car (the field service engineer) and what happened?
