Anyone have a flat fixed yet? Just happened last night, good thing it was a slow leak as I used the compressor and pumped it up to 40 and drove 60 miles home. Made it with only loosing 6PSI.

Plug, patch or both patch and plug?

Plugs are for emergencies. Have the tire removed and patch from inside for "permanent" repair.

Meh plugs last. I just plugged my tire today from a small screw. I've never had an issue with plugging tires.

I'll probably end up getting new tires next spring anyways.

I've always used plugs and haven't had any issues. I remember one time I had 5 or 6 plugs in one tire in my trailblazer ss

Inside patch is always best, but plugs work just fine if done properly. Only recommendation on the plug is to make sure you cut all extra off flush with tread with some side cutters.

Plugs work fine for normal driving, even aggressive spirited driving. But if you plan on going to the track, get a new tires lol

Plugs from the local auto store has always worked for me. I have done two this year on my work truck. The tires are inflated at 80psi with no leaks.
