I priced the HO EB drop top vs a 5.0 premium drop top. For the small cost up charge, I'll buy the 5.0 thank you.
Two different cars for two different kind of drivers. Just wondering though, how much less would it need to be for you to consider one?
you should still upgrade the ic on hpp
All EB's are improved by upgrading the intercooler. The rule of thumb for 2015 was IC first, tune second. We had a lot of Ecobooms, back then. :giggle:

EB Premium HO convertible is $45,715 MSRP
GT Premium convertible is $46,980MSRP

$1,265 difference, not $10-15k. Yes, it's a small upcharge to get another 150HP and dat vee aight.
Come on Mik, that's not apples to oranges and you know that. Besides it doesn't matter. Not everyone wants the cost and expense of a V8 (yes, there are "those" people out there).

Nobody should be buying a new mustang anyway. My CPO was 1.5 years old with 18k miles and sold for less than half the sticker price.

Again, simply keeping the record straight. Party A presented Ecovert HO Premium as compared to GTvert Premium. Party A claimed that between the two choices, the upcharge was "small". Party B asserted that is was "$10-15k".

I, a humble Monarch, am merely providing Our Royal Intellect in the calculating of sums, both large and small.
Apologies, my lord!

MCA driving school, my nephew, a Porsche lover, took my 2019 EB on the track. He was running 2:08 times and was hooked. He bought a 2018 GT350 and is doing 1:35 times. Since he drove my EB, I added a CVF 3” downpipe and Ford Performance Tune. Plus, I was running Michelin Pilot A/S because I had concerns about the temps. Running the cup tires, he probably could be matching his GT350 times with my EcoBoost……..for now. Eventually, I think I can get his times down another 15 seconds in the GT350, but not the EB. I can get around 400 hp with no big problems, but until hybrid turbos are available, there will always be a small amount of lag to deal with.
