Removing Seat Belts

Hey guys, I have an order for some custom seat belts set, but I need to remove the seat belts and send them in first. Can't seem to find a thread for it anywhere. It's for a 2015 GT, anyone have a guide of some sort?

Hi, just want to ask about removing seat belt in mustang 2016. Did u find out how to do it. Do u have to disconnect battery? I would like to change color of my stock seat belt. Thanks for any hints. Sincerely Martin

Not my vid, no affiliation either. Some S550 owner swapping his factory seatbelts for yellow seatbelts.

Yes, disconnect the battery. Pay attention to the 2 black bolts you remove. They look the same but are different. Take photos as you remove them so you know which is which. Also, the harness plugs connectors have a little tab you need to pop up to release. Don't force it. This short video shows you. We have #5.
