On my way home last night I managed to hit some roadkill and crack my driver side trim cover (the plastic trim piece that extends down and sits between the bumper and the splitter). Getting a replacement is easy enough but I can't find any videos anywhere as to how one goes about replacing it. I'm sure as with any plastic body part it's a simple snap on and off part but I'm not totally sure whether there are bolts holding it on or not. My local dealer was of no help either and they wanted to charge me to do it instead of just answering my question as to how it comes off.

Has anyone had to replace theirs with either OEM or carbon fiber ones? It's part number FR3Z-17E811-AC if that helps.

that part is held on by snap clips, and 2 fasteners.

1 behind the wheel liner on the aft side of the part

1 between the side grille and lower center grille attached from the back of the fascia skin. this one would be hard to get to without taking the fascia off, but may be possible if you remove the splitter.

Awesome. Thanks so much. I figured it was that simple but I wanted to make sure before I went yanking on anything.
