Hello all. Was Doing some spirited country driving and hit a rabbit that darted out last second. The piece that got damaged is the Front bumper trim cover passenger side. FR3Z-17E810-AB seems to be the piece that got damaged. Does anyone know what I need to do get the old one off and a new one put on? Does just the splitter need to come off to pop it out or do I need to remove the bumper? TIA for your responses.

Something like that will require taking the bumper off more than likely to get to the backside properly.

It's clipped in and also has a bolt on the backside. I just did it for the same reason. The bumper has to come off and that damn trim doesn't just pop out.. I had to grind the old trim clips off to get it off..

Why not get your insurance coverage to pay for it? If like mine at State Farm, no points against you.

That was a hell of a rabbit, or you were going Mach 1!
Ha! I was going to say the same thing!

Looks like OP’s Cobra has a little Hare on its face… 😁

Isn't that busted piece the ABS plastic? I’m surprised it broke so easily, because it’s not flimsy or thin.

Don't like insurance getting involved for something minor like this. I pamper my cars and it tore me up to see this afterward. I have a friend that is a bodyman that will pop it off and put it on for me
