Removing brake calipers

I am going to be painting my calipers and doing a suspension overhaul today, I was wondering if there was any special tools needed for removing the brake calipers and brake lines? Also what size diameter are the brake line fittings so I can grab some rubber hose to connect to them to prevent brake fluid from getting everywhere

No special tools needed for removal and installation, but you might need a pressurized brake bleeding kit. I tried to bleed mine with the vacuum bleeder and just wasted fluid.

Bleeding lines are 3/8", I think.
