From that far away, it kinda looks like an oldschool firebird

I have had multiple people tell me this, friends and my brother who worked at a dealership for a long time.I heard putting the fob next to your head extend the range a bit. Don't know why.
yep. this is just one of those things that works. probably a ELI5 out there but ive test this over and over and it works.I have had multiple people tell me this, friends and my brother who worked at a dealership for a long time.
They used to put the fob up against their chin and it would work better for some reason (their words)
This did work out in my favor once after a night at the bar with a chick, I can confirm that...."OMG it TOTALLY worksssisth"
There is a setting in the mini display between the guages. It is under vehicle settings.10 minutes?!?! wtf?
I've tested automatic start like 2-3 times and the car turns off + sounds the alarm after like 2-3 minutes. Because of that, I've never thought it was useful.
Is there a setting to change this somewhere?
Thanks man. I was waiting so impatiently for this. There is a setting in the mini display between the guages. It is under vehicle settings.
But it's not like you can do anything either way. Hell, that would probably be worse to see someone vandalizing your car, knowing that you are powerless to stop them.I purposefully park on the 7th floor so I can keep an eye on it ;)
If you want to know the science behind it, it isn't actually putting it next to your head that does it, it is the increased height that gives it the extra range. There is a Top Gear episode where Clarkson puts a remote against his head and shows how much it extends the range. I tried this on a V6 Mustang I rented and it actually worked. I was so far away I could barely hear the horn beep.
