Remote HPT Tuning?

Maybe the Lund tunes are different, I know for a fact I have not been around a Lund tuned car to check if HPT works or not.

Maybe the Lund tunes are different, I know for a fact I have not been around a Lund tuned car to check if HPT works or not.

Cool. I want to get a remote tune but then use my old mpvi to turn off the check engine light as they won’t do it.

Lund does not use HPT for tuning and his tune files are locked and an Ngauge or SCT/BDX from him is needed, not sure if MPVI can read it or not though after it's been uploaded to ECM.
PBD does use HPT and also require Ngauge or BDX, again not sure what prevents you from reading it with an MPVI unless the ECM is locked/password protected.

On a side note, these guys are just trying to protect their business from others stealing their tune files and using as their own.
