Unrelated to your reliability question but just wanted to throw out there to understand your local emissions requirements and keep that in mind when picking a power adder and more specifically a tuner for it.

Come on Brent, everyone knows turbo's are nothing but trouble! :cheers:Ohhhh, ok. Your opinion and what you've read but yet you say you've had both......SMH!
Anyways to the OP. I have had from a Procharger P600B from when they first came out back in '91 to a Vortech A,S,T and R trims to a Novi2000 to a PT-74, PT76 and Majestic 88mm turbo kits and NEVER had a problem with any of my turbo kits. Most recent had been my '14 GT with a whipple 2.3 kit that was trouble free as well. My turbo kit with the 88mm made 1177 RWHP and 1097 RWTQ on a old school 302 and I drove it for 2 years back/forth to work at 400 miles per week. Good luck with whatever you decide and if you have any of the turbo questuions, you can PM me or ask openly here.
Man, where in the hell have you been? Good seeing you around. What do you drive now? I'm in a '16 PP GT for now waiting on a twin under the car kit if possible BUT JPC has a single kit coming and may have interest in that as well. You still drag race?Come on Brent, everyone knows turbo's are nothing but trouble!
Married with two kids. Lol. Driving a 15 F150 ecoboost. Had 3 different s197 coyotes. The last was a 2013, stick car, I put a Paxton 2200 on. Ill probably get another toy next year, I'm not even sure what I want. I haven't raced since I sold the car, man I miss that car! I'll be on the lookout for your turbo setup! Good talking to you buddy!Man, where in the hell have you been? Good seeing you around. What do you drive now? This is why I went S/C. Simplicity at its best in the world of power. Let me say this. If I was a gazillionaire I would have 10 vehicles 5 S/Cd and 5 Turbo'd.Any of the top Turbo kits are going to be fine and reliable, likewise for the SC kits. Whipple, VMP are two kits that once installed (minus checking your belt) you really dont have to mess with once installed. Lots of guys get roped into the "price point" of some systems then you see them for sale 6 months later.
Congrats on the family. I bet they are fun and a handful. Anyways, keep me posted and I mis my old car too.....it now has a BBC twin turbos running 4.0's from what I last saw back in Georgia.Married with two kids. Lol. Driving a 15 F150 ecoboost. The paxton is hard to beat for what you get for the $$.Yup seen your stock and that's probably the way I'll be going. Which of the 3 would you suggest. I was thinking procharger but the price of the Paxton and vortech is appealing.
Wondering if you could elaborate a little more about this? Doesn't have to include manufacturers names, just maybe things to look out for?... Excellent. Now what's the difference between Paxton and vortech. Thought they were the sameThe paxton is hard to beat for what you get for the $$.
Out of what i call any
"base kit"
It has the greatest growing potential and hp per $$.
the "base" kit gives you an 8 sec capable s/c, 900 or so hp intercooler, but is still very efficient at low boost levels.
again, any of the kits are great, but our custom paxton package is def a great value.
the main reason you see other places "down play them", is because they simply aren't competitive with our packages. we are the #1 paxton / vortech auto dealer in the world!
getting an 8 sec potential kit for less than any other package isn't getting "roped" imho
kits are identical other than head unit and logoExcellent. Now what's the difference between Paxton and vortech. Thought they were the same
