Waiting for a response back from my guys on install price, i might be the first guinea pig if the price is right.
I was following your recent posts about the Steeda CAI and tune (with the LTs and exhaust), those are some outstanding numbers.

Excited to see how this motor responds to those bolt-ons plus some moderate (streetable) cams.

Thank you! I can't wait to get some more power adders in this bad boy, my goal is to be one bad N/A car.

Knowing we have the CJ intake cam from the factory, I can't help but wonder what the CJ exhaust cam would bring to the table.....
Gains would probably be very minimal on a NA car and those cams are still very mild. The CJ cams have to abide by NHRA class rules so they won't be too radical with the specs.

Come late December- early January, unless we post up that we have them before then, I would contact us and go with a set of the Comp cams if you're really looking to make power and turn some RPM.

Couple of questions - What kind of Dyno did you do this on? I have similar mods as you can see in my sig.
Also how did you get a Steeda tune with headers and off-road pipe as is in your sig?
I originally ordered a tune from Steeda but since I was catless they couldn't provide me with a tune (Federal law) so they refunded my money.

I personally went to Steeda's Florida headquarters location, and got it done with help from David and the Steeda crew.

Original post from David

Latest update: we just had cognizantphotos 2016 PP GT in the shop for some dyno tuning, he brought his car to us with only long tube headers and exhaust (untuned) and wanted a dyno tune for his headers and yet to be installed restrictorless Steeda CAI.

With long tubes and exhaust, Joe's car put down 405 rwhp and 359 ft./lbs. tq. - again this was with no tune.

We popped in our Steeda CAI without the restrictor and started working on a tune to also accommodate Joe's long tubes. Our tuning mindset strives for great drivability with maximum (safe) power.

We're definitely pleased with the final results: 442 rwhp and 399 ft./lbs. tq.! Testing was done in a controlled environment with IAT 10 degrees above ambient and cylinder head temps right at 200 degrees for all pulls.

I'm including a couple additional dyno sheets to show both low RPM gains and high RPM gains. At 3,000 RPM you can see a 61 ft./lb. tq. increase and right at 6,700 RPM you can see a 47 rwhp and 36 ft./lbs. tq. increase!

These are stout numbers and we're happy with the gains, we know Joe will be as well - especially with how amazing the drivability is.

Videos to come shortly. PS - Kooks long tubes with Borla exhaust sounds amazing, especially at WOT.

Before and After:

Low RPM Gains:

High RPM Gains:

OK...thanks for the info and nice gains. I will chalk up the differences to the CAI and Dynojet dyno.

This is sweet as hell. So with longtubes, CAI, cams/valvesprings(for high RPM) and tune. We could see 500RWHP S550's roaming the streets?

If this turns out to be the case, I would go this route over a FI setup. I would love to have 500RWHP N/A with a 7800-8000k redline with reliable power.
with new oil pump gears.

yeah my only concern with getting new cams would be oil pump gears. people start hanging around the 7500 mark without new ones and they arent going to last long

if your doing cams, no brainer to do the opgs at the same time, maybe 20 minutes in labor at that point

Yep, timing cover and chains need to be removed for cams so might as well drop the extra $300ish on the OPGs.
