This is sweet as hell. So with longtubes, CAI, cams/valvesprings(for high RPM) and tune. We could see 500RWHP S550's roaming the streets?

If this turns out to be the case, I would go this route over a FI setup. I would love to have 500RWHP N/A with a 7800-8000k redline with reliable power.

Agreed!!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I was actually shooting for 500 crank hp. I would gladly take 500rwhp on an N/A setup. Sign me up!

I'll be interested to see how much power these actually make...lift isn't much different over stock.

Yep. I prefer to stay NA on this car anyway. I love a high winding V8 too. Pure sex on the sound.

I also forgot to throw in the Boss or CJ setup, too :). All of that together should get us to 500RWHP or really, really, really close :).

MUCH cheaper? Not really. Add up the prices to all those parts, add $1500 for cams, labor if you do valvesprings, and what a CJ intake setup costs. You'd be close to a procharger and not make the same power. I'm not saying don't go the N/A route and that it wouldn't be fun to drive, but it's not MUCH cheaper.

True on a 5-6k procharger. My Whipple or KB setup would run 8k+. Granted that is 650RWHP+.

Tough choices no matter what the cost :)

Plenty of prochargers making more than that, but at 14-15psi. It's definitely a pay to play game no matter what route you go.

Yeh it's tough. You would be looking at CAI, tune, cams, valve springs, and longtubes; maybe even a Boss manifold.

To get 500 N/A you may spend as much as a blower that will get you 550-650 easier with less work/labor.

Nice to see so much interest! Maybe we will see a vendor throw them in and post a vid with some numbers and sound clips.

I would say N/A with cams is more reliable long run.

FI puts a lot of strain on the engine parts, even if the stock engine can handle it just fine.
