People sure are good at telling other people what to do with their money around here.

Hate having a car payment again.. Other than that?... No regrets whatsoever. Wanted one the minute I saw one in person.. Having a blast in this car.

Actually, loading up piles of debt is NOT good for an economy. I thought they proved that one back in 2008.

auto loans that are less than 20% of your annual household income is way different from a 400k 30 year mortgage

Nah. It's just the next debt bubble. Folks are scared of houses, now (as well they should be). Now they load up on cars and student loan debt. But no comment on your purchase decisions personally. I have no f*cking idea what your finances are.

If you can afford to trade in cars every year... well let's just say I wish I had that kind of money.

thanks to very nice parents on both sides of the family, we have no student loans to worry about. i do have friends that have both student loans and mortgages to worry about. i dont know how they sleep at night, lol.

and no i dont trade cars in on a yearly basis, but my avg car ownership lasts 3 years. i was hoping to keep this one for 5 years, but i'm sure ill get the itch in 3-4 like the last time i thought i was going to keep the subaru for 10.

good for you. i'm proud to own my first domestic car as well. i'm hoping to keep my purchases american as long as they provide the best bang for buck.

i always need justification for big purchases. the item needs to be the "best" in one thing or another.

i can say that almost every firearm i own is american made, except for the AK-47 someone basically gave me for some ammo.

I happen to like my AK. But I'm lazy about gun cleaning. You don't want to be lazy with the AR, that's for sure. The AK doesn't give a sh*t. Drop it in mud, dump acid on it, still fires -- 'course hitting anything with it requires some prayer, but you can't have everything.

My only regret is not getting the memory seat option. I sometimes have my nephews and nieces sit in the back of my car when they want to go cruising. It takes forever to move that passenger seat up and back! :D

Other than that, my 5.0 MT82 is one heck of BEAST! This is my first ever Ford Mustang. I've owned an 82 Toyota Supra, 95 Nissan Maxima SE, 97 Honda Prelude, 04 Honda Accord Coupe V6 6-speed.

When I first saw photos of the current Stang, I knew I was going to drive one.

You know the non memory seats have a handle on the back side that disengages the seat back so you can pull it forward? Then when you push the seat back it remembers where your seat back is.

Really? I dunno Brent. My passenger seat is electronic. I'll check it out tho just to make sure I'm not missing out on anything. Thx.

CuriouS too, seems like mine doesn't move either. It'll tilt forward but not slide up. Also, memory is only drivers side, so that wouldn't help passenger side.
