The front Tri’s will be the next mod I do along with a new grill and oil cooler (all bumper off stuff together). I will put up pictures as I go. To be honest having done the rears I really don’t think the fronts will be that hard to do yourself!
meh I tend to break things when i try and modify so i take the safer option and pay for others to do it for me or not at all. Like seeing what others have done so looking forward to the next instalment on your car :like:

I have made some Resin screw on covers for the bottom of the headlights so you can cut the bottom open using my template and go in from underneath, then screw on the resin cover to seal it all up again. You're pretty local, pop over and take a look.

I love what you have done to your tail lights, I want to do exactly the same but am struggling to get hold of red lights.
Thanks for the offer. I may take you up on that! I got mine from eBay U.K. they were shipped from Germany.

Take a look here, this was a while back but I’ve made the plates now.

i'm probably going to be the black sheep here but i prefer the clear lenses, i too went exotic pony 3A3R on mine though :like: love the sequential

good job @FMJ
Not a black sheep.

I'm in the US and by themselves, I prefer white. But some cars, such as white or silver or magnetic (cars that look the same in color or b&w photos) look better with red lights. That's why I'm still running factory red lights and think the OP's looks better with red. If I had a bright colored car, I would definitely choose white lights over red.

Aren’t the red Vlands about £350 and you can toggle them between full red mode and an amber trying to shine through the red lens (to get it OK’d at a considerate MOT tester).

I think they are more like £500, and they only do the 2018+ curved style from what I understand. They don't seem to do the straight lights from the 2015's, although I'm sure they used to.

In my experience with both third party light units and third party LED’s both are never as good quality as OE.
A lot of aftermarket LED’s start to flicker or fail. The ability to toggle things also adds more possible points of failure and I didn’t want this option.

They are also very expensive.

Trust me the amber OE LEDs and red OE lenses work together great giving a proper bright OE amber light rather then a dim diluted one that you get with some work arounds.

They are cool, I just couldn’t justify over £1000 for them when I achieved what I wanted (I just wanted red rears with legal/safe indicators) for less then £100 now I have sold my old lights 👍. I did my work exactly the same way that exotic pony mods do it too 👍.

But if you want the sequential and things and have the dosh the exotic pony ones are the business. But you still need a US set of lights and to cut them open or pay someone to do it which is a huge outlay.

I went with the Vland rear reds and so far they have been great. The pace car indicator flash sequence is a nice feature and I got them for about £400 which I thought was decent enough.
