Recognizing this is a "personal preference" question, I'm having difficulty making a decision on new tail lights and would appreciate some opinions. I'd like to take advantage of some Black Friday discounts and have been indecisive for a couple days.

I'm looking at upgrading the OEM tail lights on my 2018 GT350, and I can't decide between the Euro-style white or smoked tail lights, and which brand. I am looking for something that is attention-getting, and good-quality.

Generally, I'm looking at the following brands: VLand, Form Lighting, Renegade. I am a little averse to the VLands; as much as I would like the orange lighting, I'm a bit shy about running wires up into my headliner. If it's "not that big a deal", please mention so. I just don't want to have cryptic Chinese instructions I can't understand. I'm also looking for things to be a bit more plug-and-play since I already have Diode Dynamics 4th brake light, and sequential brake light module.

Does anyone have any opinions about the brands I mentioned -- or recommendations for some rare/bad-a$$ other brand you're aware of? And what do you think would look best on my Magnetic Metal car that has been ceramic coated (white or smoked?). I can probably be convinced to just keep the red ones also.

Thank you for your input and recommendations! I've attached a photo.

I've been running the Vland white taillights with the amber turn signals for the past two years. Running the single wire up to the 3rd brake light took a little time but was otherwise not a big deal. I really like the amber sequential turn signals.

Go with the Ford Performance oem as linked above. The third party options being only $100-200 less, I don’t feel like it’s worth cheaping out on.

Yellowing, moisture build up, failed LEDS, peeling clear coat on the lens and black trim are all common issues with anything other than oem.

If you decide on white and don't insist on the straight up and down segments, you should look at the Ford Ice White package taillights. FP sells pairs for way less than Ford does as repair parts. At discount around $600 a set. You can't beat factory quality and reliability compared to 3rd party or hacked foreign market lights. FP Ice White lights (M-13504-MC) on my Mustang:
