Ok, trooper called!

They didn't charge him because nobody was injured :tsk:. He "the other driver" said he got "Scared" and is why he didn't stop. But he did agree to accident and his insurance is paying for my damages.

Damages to my car is not that much... There are some scratches on the front bumper but i have a Steeda front fascia coming so i am not too worry about that. New fender should be about a week and the beast will back back on the road!

With the damage to the fender already being the result of the initial incident, you should've followed him and P.I.T. maneuvered him right into a freaking jersey barrier.

A hit and run regardless of injuries is a big crime here.

But he said he was "scared". In these crazy times Grandmarshal is lucky he wasn't charged for forcing the other driver to flee for his life.

In California, the OP would have been arrested and the hit and run driver would sued, now owning your home and driving your GT. because in the communist state of California, if you offend anyone and that offended person doesn’t have a safe zone to go and hide, you have now violated his rights, because the offended person may have peed himself a little effecting the way he can work for the rest of his life.... that is if he ever gets off public assistant, but why would he do that because the government pays for everything@!!!!! Rant over!!!! Fuck I hate California.... I know I know, then move. 19 months before I retire and get the hell out!!!!

Fail to Stop and Give Information or F.S.G.I. is what us LEO's call it. Its a Class B misdemeanor in Texas.

CHAPTER 550. ACCIDENTS AND ACCIDENT REPORTS

Sec. 550.022. ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), the operator of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting only in damage to a vehicle that is driven or attended by a person shall:

(1) immediately stop the vehicle at the scene of the accident or as close as possible to the scene of the accident without obstructing traffic more than is necessary;

(2) immediately return to the scene of the accident if the vehicle is not stopped at the scene of the accident; and

(3) remain at the scene of the accident until the operator complies with the requirements of Section 550.023.

(b) If an accident occurs on a main lane, ramp, shoulder, median, or adjacent area of a freeway in a metropolitan area and each vehicle involved can be normally and safely driven, each operator shall move the operator's vehicle as soon as possible to a designated accident investigation site, if available, a location on the frontage road, the nearest suitable cross street, or other suitable location to complete the requirements of Section 550.023 and minimize interference with freeway traffic.

(c) A person commits an offense if the person does not stop or does not comply with the requirements of Subsection (a). An offense under this subsection is:

(1) a Class C misdemeanor, if the damage to all vehicles is less than $200; or

(2) a Class B misdemeanor, if the damage to all vehicles is $200 or more.

(c-1) A person commits an offense if the person does not comply with the requirements of Subsection (b). An offense under this subsection is a Class C misdemeanor.

(d) In this section, a vehicle can be normally and safely driven only if the vehicle:

(1) does not require towing; and

(2) can be operated under its own power and in its usual manner, without additional damage or hazard to the vehicle, other traffic, or the roadway.
