When I bought my 14 I regreted not getting them, did not make that mistake again. The seats are awesome, they were super tight for the first week or two but after that I have been loving them. thr stock seats are still really good as well, but the recaros just look cool!

I have the leather Recaros and have found them to be absolutely perfect in function and seem to be of high quality.

A neat feature for me is when the mode is set to the track setting, the driver's seat automatically lowers slightly (I presume to allow head room for a helmet?), and returns to a preset position when track mode is disabled. Its probably a well known feature, but I just discovered it recently. Of course this only happens if the seat is already raised a bit.

Edit: I have returned from the dealer and what I thought was occurring to the driver's seat when changing modes (as above), has been determined to be a defective seat. The seat's vertical setting relaxes, sinks down about 3/4", during hard acceleration. Anyway, it isn't suppose to do that and the dealer agreed to replacing it.

I apologize to the OP for the bad info, and hope I haven't made as big a fool of myself as I feel that I have.:frusty: The Recaros are great seats though!

I kind of regret not getting recaros..... almost want to get the leather ones from Ford racing And try to split the difference by selling my stock premium seats. Anyone want to trade??

I like how people don't say im fat and they fit me. They always say im 6-1 296lbs but I have big shoulders.

I am a big guy, carry a lot of muscle around but have always had broad shoulders. When I am 205lbs I wear a 48 coat and have a 33". I did bodybuilding back in my late teens and early 20's. Always do compound movements. No doubt I need to lose weight. I am back on the good eating plan as we all know ab's are made in the kitchen.

Calling someone out because you think they're fat? Should've kept that to yourself...

Favorite feature of my GT. The Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner works really well to keep the seats in great condition without leaving any greasy or shiny residue.

I have the base GT (SOON! on order) and I added the cloth Recaros.
Sat in the leather premium seats, to me they felt like big SUV seats. Im going to be doing some very spirited driving and maybe track time at RIR. I thought it was a selling point for the base GT.
If the premium Recaros had the same heated and cooled features I would have been sold on premium trim.

Yeah, that's why I went base too. However, if I would've known they were going to but the shitty base rear bumper on a 40k dollar car, I would've ordered a premium....
