I added the recaros to my order because i liked the set i sat in, and i felt like it gave the car more of an upscale european GT feel. I'm curious to hear the feedback of those of you that have been living with them for some time now.

Felt a little too snug for the first few days, but now they're perfect. Feels like you're locked in a cockpit and ready to take off. The seatbelt rides a little high on me, but not sure if that's Recaro related.

I also have a loaded '13 f150 fx4, and these seats are 10x more comfortable than the ones in my truck!

I took a 6 hour drive to houston a few weeks back, and even on a long trip they were extremely comfortable.

I love mine, only gripe is a squeak at low speeds when my weight shifts around in the seat. Others have reported the same and adjusting the seat helps but I haven't had much luck getting it to stop.

I'm generally pretty careful when getting in/out of the car too, it's a tight squeeze and I don't want to drag my shoe on the sill or anything.

Love them...tight the first few days, then they seem to conform to your body, like a great baseball glove. Worth it!

Ill let you know when my car gets built. Looks like I ordered the exact same ride as SF-2015 GT over there.

I live 45 minutes from Flat Rock so shouldn't be long!

I have them in my "15 GT and love them. I am not a small guy either...6' 260lbs and wear a 52-54 (have very broad shoulders) coat and I love the snug feeling.

I drove my car home 17-18hrs over 2 straight day from PA to Atlanta, GA and have not one complaint. No back issues, no numb legs, etc. They are very, very comfortable and hold you in while taking corners at all speeds. Very much for the minimal upgrade in $$$$.

Add me to the "LOVE IT" category. I've only had mine a short time, but they are very comfortable and hold you tight during Autocross events!

Well worth the price. (mine are fabric in the base EB)

I loved them. at the end of the day just couldn't see spending more for less options and losing half the options out of 401a because of recaro.

However if they come out with heated, cooled, and electric versions that are a direct replacement... I will swap

I love it. It snags me in and hugs me the whole time. It fits me like a glove.

I have the leather Recaros and have found them to be absolutely perfect in function and seem to be of high quality.

A neat feature for me is when the mode is set to the track setting, the driver's seat automatically lowers slightly (I presume to allow head room for a helmet?), and returns to a preset position when track mode is disabled. Its probably a well known feature, but I just discovered it recently. Of course this only happens if the seat is already raised a bit.

Edit: I have returned from the dealer and what I thought was occurring to the driver's seat when changing modes (as above), has been determined to be a defective seat. The seat's vertical setting relaxes, sinks down about 3/4", during hard acceleration. Anyway, it isn't suppose to do that and the dealer agreed to replacing it.

I apologize to the OP for the bad info, and hope I haven't made as big a fool of myself as I feel that I have.:frusty: The Recaros are great seats though!:)
