Why wouldn't you drive your car to the dealership comes Spring ? :shrug:

I am not worried about it coming apart. I almost have 13000 miles on her but it would be nice courtesy from Ford to offer it to owners.

Mine was built Aug 25. Checked the Oasis today and it has the recall. I'm going to bring it into the dealership (where I work) for a final wash tonight and park it for the winter. Luckily there will be snow on the ground tomorrow so although this affects me it will be ok. Lucky to have taken delivery before this recall was sent out !

Yep, mine was built August 24th and it's on the list for recall as well. In by a week. Frustrating, damn!

Ford may have had different vendors supplying the same part. May be that company was failing. I work in aviation and get the same part supplied by different vendors all the time. I'm sure Ford isn't any different. :shrug:

We were told by the Director that the filter had vibrated loose and that the seal blew out when it couldn't hold out any longer.

My curiosity lies in whether this was a manufacturing issue or a design issue. If it is a manufacturing issue and these weren't supplied according to spec is the supplier eating this one or were these done in-house?

Yes, all GT350s have the engine oil coolers. Just not the transmission and differential coolers.

That is corrrct, this includes test drives.
