Suspension is a bit softer, I swear that the steering has been calibrated differently, and with 50 lbft more torque below 3400 it make a huge difference how it drives in traffic. On another note the Recaros in the GT aren't as form fitting as the Shelby. Not to mention Im just more paranoid when...
I have both a 15 GT PP and a 16 GT350. I must say that I'd rather drive the GT around town and in traffic but blast the GT 350 down some back roads. Both are very different animals.
I have to agree with lemers on this one. Many of us who bought the 15-16 cars didn't get to order one. If we wanted the car we had to settle for what was available on the market. I love my base car and have never had an issue with limp mode on it and probably never will. (Since it won't be...
The '18 refresh is Fugly! Thank the Lord that they wont be using it for the GT350. Looks someone designed it to do some off roading I mean seriously check out the clearance difference between the rocker and the front lip.
1) How many miles before first oil change? 4200
2) How many miles before racing? Haven't
3) How many miles before dyno? Nope
4) How many miles before taking the RPM to 8250?
5) Have you ever reved the engine before reaching operating temps? 180+ Maybe (reved to what?)
6) Have you used...
Moved to Whidbey Island a couple of months ago. Looking forward to this summer maybe we can all get together sometime for a ride. Any Ford shows in the Spring around here?
No ADM because no greedy dealer to mark it up. Haha. Anyway most systems have several back up systems in case of a failure so they can limp back to home base for repairs. So... sorta?
I have my doubts any of that ever happened. Please enlighten me with your mechanical skills. If your the Picasso of mechanics why are you even bringing your cars to the dealer for service. Even better why don't you build your own. Something my undeveloped brain couldn't possibly fathom.
Half the guys on here are acting like the Techs are some knuckle dragging morons who'd change your oil with a mallet and a screw driver out of spite. These guys and gals get qualified and take classes to learn there trade. When I was a tech I started off washing cars before moving up to the oil...
The adult in me says save the money and purchase a house but, I don't know what your long term goals are and if you plan on staying where you are. I personally would go with purchasing a new one maybe getting an R if possible. Just make sure you do what feels right deep down in your gut.
Ford may have had different vendors supplying the same part. May be that company was failing. I work in aviation and get the same part supplied by different vendors all the time. I'm sure Ford isn't any different.
Normally there wouldn't be a chance in hell I'd put an aluminum filler cover on my car but, that actually looks good and fits the car. Can you post a pic of the entire divers side? Curious. Also guess I didn't realize that wimbelton white had such a yellowish tint to it. I'm diggin it.
I get it. Should have checked it over before leaving the dealer. More or less just venting. Not so worried about the spoiler as I plan on adding a track pack one but the door panel ticks me off considering nobody has even sat in the seat.
