I want to get my windows tinted, but I can't get over my concern about the rear window. Between the defroster wires and those little black circles around the outside edges of the window, I'm afraid that there will be some unsightly air bubbles. I'm not really concerned about cost, so is there one type of tint that does a better job at sealing around the defroster wires and those little black circles? Anyone have some close up pictures to share? If they mess it up and have to remove the tint, will it destroy the defroster wires? That rear window is so hard to clean, I can't imagine how they could even do a decent tint job on it.

Thanks,

WGW

I have had to remove and it did not mess up the defrost wires. A quality shop should have no problem.

Had the dealership do mine. It wasn't dark enough so I had them take it off and redo it in 5%. Looks great, I'll get some up close pics for you tmrw, but I have no issues around the defrost or bubbles in the window.
