Has anyone had any issues with the rear window leaking water? I was caught in some heavy rainfall earlier and both sides appear to leak (passenger side more than the driver's).

I searched the forums to see if there was already a thread on this but all I found was one about alignment issues in 2015 models.

Where is it leaking into? On my trunk the stupid wire harness gets trapped in the trunk weather stripping. When the closing the trunk this lets water run inside. It has done this since the car was new.

I looked at the trunk but I didn't see anything in there. It's on the roof near where the seat belt connects, where the plastic and the cloth meet. Not sure if you can tell where it's wet or not in the photos.

Maybe the rear window was not sealed properly.
I took it in and they said the sealant on the top part wasn't applied properly or where the antenna sticks out, allowing it to travel down both sides. Either way it's under warranty; hopefully they'll tell me what the exact problem is in a few days when I get it back.

Looking at your pics - it could be the 3rd brake light assembly.

Another member also had water leaks and was able to determine it was coming through the 3rd brake light area.

See his DIY thread:

I would mention it to your Service Writer to check that area as well (just in case and so you’re not making another trip back if the roof antenna was not the source).
