Rear seat delete weights?

Well I am committed, said it was going to be a street car, ordering the th400 Monday.

I am going to use a Watson 6 point bolt in. Plan is to keep the 4 point in full time, and bolt the door bars in when headed to the track. That being said I need to delete the rear seats. Mostly interested in weight savings, but wouldn't mind if it looked a little better. I am leaning towards the ebay carpet as it is probably the lightest. However the watson and others with the flat cover look a little better, they probably reduce noise a little better. Anyone know the weights? I'd take a 5 lb hit for a little more comfort and better looks.

I went with the cover king/eBay carpet one… honestly you can’t see a whole lot once the seats and roll bar are in so looks really didn’t matter. I will say there are some nice RSD’s out there but once again I wasn’t going for looks.

I like that it is plastic. I could attach electronics to it in the trunk. I have a few things back there. Probably weighs about the same.

I bet most people haven't had more than one to compare.

Just make sure to get one that deletes the seatbelts, they weight more than the seat deletes themselves, iirc

Thanks, I quit reading the page before with the thread drift on the joke about kids and people getting offended. CM is just a couple pounds more than just carpet and would provide a shelf Lo g with something I could mount electronics to.
