Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum. I just bought a 2016 Mustang GT. I absolutely love the car, my only issue is it came with the rear seat delete. My four year-old daughter likes to go everywhere with me, so I’m going to need that backseat. The car came with the seats, but they misplaced the bolts. It has the bracket that goes between the seats, I’m assuming that’s the only one. I’ve searched everywhere I can think of just buy the bolts, but I can’t find them. Does anyone know the info on them so I can match it up at my local hardware store? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Your local Ford dealer will gladly look them up and sell them to you. Or reach out to one of our sponsors like Levittown Ford,
Benny is pretty active and responsive on here.
Were it me, I'd want the exact bolts for that not some random hardware store bolt that might thread in.

Is this the bracket?

This is off my 2021 M1, so might be different. This is an M12x1.75, 10.9 strength. Looks to be about 35mm long. That's a flanged bolt, so if using a standard head 10.9 bolt, be sure to use a 10.9 flat washer.

I also just added a rear seat. I ordered all the parts off of Ford Parts Giant dot com which is OEM.

I needed the center section hinge (as posted above) and the top of the seat which they call Strikers.

Strikers: FR3Z-6360615-A (I need two of these for both sides)
Hinge: FU5Z-9662452-B
* NOTE - none come with hardware. It'll show the OEM hardware on the website.

The bolts you're looking for are called "body bolts". Hardened. I'll post some picks of the ones you need in a bit. They're in a box in my shop. I pulled out the rear seats and installed a RSD kit. There are going to be bolts for the bracket that you mentioned. That's the kids car seat restraint bar. There are also seat belt bolts and folding seat bolts. Give me a bit.

If his kid is 4, they shouldn't be using that bar anymore. Those bars should not be used past like 35 lbs IIRC, and really only for infant seats. Not a booster seat. After 35 lbs, the seatbelt really needs to be used, and is the law AFAIK most places.

But it brings up a good point, as to what is actually installed in the car. Since a delete is usually to drop weight, I wonder if they pulled all the seat belts?

That's every bolt and part you need to replace your seats and belts.

Sorry for the delay, I managed to injure myself climbing out of my work truck. So I’ve been moving slow. Thanks everyone for the responses. I really appreciate it.
I would definitely prefer to get the factory bolts, I just didn’t have any luck finding them. I’m going to go check Levittown ford now.

My local ford dealership has been useless so far.

Btw, anyone know of any good bucket seat booster seats?

And the seat belts are still in my car. I believe the previous owner did it for cosmetic purposes

thanks again everyone
