You can provide them with measurements, photos & answering any technical questions or questions they have. They might ask for original one so they can further look into it/explore ideas.

Good thing is they will be able to work around the carbon and bulid it around that.

You'll sell you mine, comes with the box.
The sides cost $180 while the rear panel is $1500. Decals won't be as nice but if you really want the OEM look and you're ripping the panel with no intent to put it back on anyway or damage it while removing it just pop the lettering off.

Are they glued on or are they plastic pins that clip in?

kind of both, they're plastic pins off the back of the letters that are melted/ heat welded into the back of the panel. they pop off with out too much trouble. I used a plastic trim removal tool.

How would you reattach them to a different deck....smooth out the back and glue them?

I'm using a few dots of gray RTV to hold them on my tool box, they're not coming off with out similar effort and cleans up easily. Moulding tape works too and is most common.
