Hey guys,
I finally tracked down the rear-end clunk in my 15 GT.
Every time I would switch from forward to reverse (or vice-versa), and apply throttle, I would get a few clunks. I checked torque on everything multiple times, with the exception of the LCA bolt. I replaced my LCA with BMR BK081 a few months back, and that bolt is a bear to get to.
Noise:
Ultimately, I had to buy a 24mm shallow 6 point socket and an impact rated universal joint. I torqued it as tight as I could get it with a 3 foot cheater bar. Clunk is gone! Pics below.
