My 2022 GT with the below mods is making a "chirping" sound in the rear at low speeds over even slightly uneven/rough pavement. It's a lower pitch than a true squeak. Almost like the repeated, short whine/whimper sound that dogs make in protest.

Upper shock mounts damaged or loose? Seems like that would be a clunk not a chirp.

Springs not seated correctly? This sound just started a couple of weeks ago. I did my suspension 2.5 years ago.

Sway bar end links loose? I've never had them apart. Still on OE bars and end links.

Poly diff bushing pucks? The noise doesn't show up when adding or removing throttle or getting on/off the clutch. It's purely from body/suspension motion.

I've put the rear seats down to check that it's not the latches making noise.

Other ideas?

Are you able to replicate the noise by jacking the rear up and down (Replicating suspension load)? A video would probably help as well.

I've had a rear squeak/chirp at initial take-off on both s550 mustangs I've owned. On both mustangs I've done rear susp mods, both had spherical LCA bushings (different brands). On both I suspected that joint made noise, but on both I would just spray silicone lube on every joint I could see (without jacking up the car) and it would be quiet for a month or two. I suspect it's the undercarriage spray at the carwash that slowly washes away my spray lube. Idk, good luck lol, let me know if you fix the problem.

I tried something similar but no luck replicating.

I installed J&M upper shock mounts out back, thinking the spherical bearing in lieu of the OEM rubber might eliminate this noise, assuming the stock mounts had torn. The noise persisted but the ride out back was much less bouncy so that a nice improvement.

When doing the installation, I noticed my rear tires were severely worn after just 10k miles, with the inside tread being totally bald. Once side was worse and nearly cording. Ordered new rear tires and made an appointment for mount and balance, plus an alignment. Turns out toe and camber adjustment on both camber arms was way out. Camber was at -2.8° driver and -3.1° passenger. Total toe was at +1.5°. After getting it back into spec the chirping, creaking, and squeaking is gone. Must have been riding at the limits, causing rubbing.

Has anyone else had the OEM camber arms come out of adjustment without a noticable cause, such as a heavy impact?

Im betting you had a loose tie rod or something. That degree of toe will eat your tires up, fast.
