Rear Diffuser Replaceable?

New here had a question and figured this would be the best place to answer it, does anybody know If the 2015 lower valance is replaceable like the 10-14s were? Thinking of getting a base Ecoboost but want the upgraded rear diffuser.

I'm in a similar position to you. I've ordered an Ingot Silver base Ecoboost and will be looking at adding some contrast at the bottom of the rear bumper.

Initially i'm looking at wrapping part of the bumper with 3M vinyl film, but I feel that a bolt on trim will soon become available, similar to the one available for previous generations.

That's a good question guys-We don't know at this time if they're going to carry over like the previous gens could and we should know shortly!

Maybe I'm just slow today. Can you clarify your statement? I don't quite know what you mean when you say "they should carry over"... What should carry over?

From what I've seen it appears the Base Rear Bumper/Diffuser is One Piece Molded and Painted. (There is No Hint of a Join Line/Seam between the Bumper and Diffuser on the Base Model) Nothing gives the impression of the Diffuser being a Separate Piece. I have a Strong Suspicion You're going to have to Replace the Entire Bumper Cover with a Premium Bumper Cover and Separate Diffuser.

Base models: single piece bumper and diffuser combo.
Premium models: multi piece bumper and diffuser insert combo.

If you want to have a bumper that gives you the option to switch out diffuser inserts for something that will pop up in the aftermarket, you will need a premium bumper.

If you have a base bumper to start with, you will need to replace the entire thing with a premium one.

Even that isn't entirely functional if those strakes aren't running into a flat underbody tray. They look relatively shallow in that photo, although nowhere near OEM bad.

I figured the whole fake diffuser thing was implied as per usual; it's still applicable when used to describe the styling element.

That is damn clean looking! So I take it it's your car.

When I was referring to an underbody tray for it to be "entirely" functional, I meant something like this:

Of course, two of those cars are bespoke hypercars. I'm just of the understanding that diffuser strakes don't provide much in the way of downforce unless there's an entirely flat underbody and the car being near-slammed in height.

The strakes don't the length of the pan does help. You do what you can or you talk about what you can't do.
