Rear Diffuser installation

I need to replace my rear diffuser on my 22 Mach this weekend weather permitting. Has anyone done this before? I’d appreciate any tips and tricks before I get into it.

Simple ten minute job - remove two bolts at the axle housing and it drops onto the retaining hooks. Pop off two plastic Christmas tree push pins (assembly aid) and the numerous tiny bolts along the edge of the bumper diffuser panel and it comes right off. Be careful when you're installing it, the cooling tunnels run right up against the axle cooler.

The exhaust hanger brackets on cars with the rear diffuser/axle cooler are unique because of the provisions for the threaded insert and hole to receive the backup hooks on the diffuser's front mounting bracket. It makes removal/installation a breeze.

Wear eye protection! That tray picks up a huge amount of dirt, sand, and rocks that will fall on you while you are pulling it down.
