I changed my diff fluid this week, at 4600 miles and 2 track days.. It was very black and dirty, and it contain small metal particles from break in. It is still relatively dirty as you can't remove all oil in a change... So my plan is to do a second change, and then let it be for at least 2 years (maybe sooner if I track more often).

I think I’ll change my diff oil at around the 5,000 mark. Wanna get rid of whatever metal particles may have accumulated in there during break in.

I have 3 track days (~600 miles at high speed) on my 75w140 diff oil and it still looks like new. I think I will run it 4-6 track days at least before changing.

Just going on record here... if you track your car and are OUT of warranty I would sure change the diff fluid annually! Actually -- if you plan on keeping the car after warranty I would change it annually too. For the life of me... when I saw 150k miles my jaw dropped. In every track/race car I've owned for 30 years diff fluid was an annual maintenance item.

Yeah I had about 14 track hours (from new) on my diff fluid when I changed it and it looked new as well. No idea what is happening with these other cars if it looks like sludge after such low mileage.
