What's the price tag? I already have Moddictions unit but I can't see this being more than his due to it just being pretty basic

Honestly I think Im going to keep my TomTop over this and Moddiction, nothing really jumps out for a reason to spend more.

Looks good..I'm in for one as well.

Would one of those glare shield things help with daytime viability?

Yeah, I am simply hanging around for the price tag... I don't need support, I just want the hardware.

I actually have one on the way. When it arrives and I install it I will let you know!

Ok guys might have spoke to soon. I am now experiencing a 1 hr time drop with the system. What is interesting to note though is that this started happening once I changed the time zone manually. My theory is that the system, when first installed, will pull its time from the Nav auto timezone function. When I first installed it the time was correct. If you change the settings though you will end up running into this issue. I have to do a bit more testing to confirm all of this though.

Did you manually change the time in the nav settings or the system settings?

System settings. Nav has no issue keeping the correct time.

Might have to set it one hour ahead like the other systems out there.

Ok interesting, just asking b/c my time is correct and I manually updated the time zone in system settings the night I first powered up my Moddiction unit. The next morning, I did unplug everything so I could re-route my GPS wire, don't remember adjusting the time zone again when I powered back up. Opened up the nav to make sure it worked, the time was still correct too  maybe I just got lucky.

It is entirely possible! Seems like the time with these units are a little off. I will have to set my timezone to atlantic time for now.

The time on mine was correct the first few days. Then it jumped back so I had to change the time zone. It's strange that it was ok for a few days.
