Got my first mustang 6 weeks ago. 1700 miles so far. Black badges, jlt intake, x pipe and e85 so far. Black sve sp2’s on the way and waiting on a quote from steeda on coilovers / irs parts to get it sitting right and ready for some fun.

I know the terminology used in CG modeling to describe the difference between a color like Ruby and Rapid Red, but not the terms used for automotive paint:

Ruby is more highly specular than Rapid Red or Red Candy - where light strikes a highlight it reflects brightly, but as the angle of incidence changes the reflectivity falls off sharply, is more diffuse and therefore darker.

sitting pretty now with the steeda suspension. ride height should have came like this stock on the cars. not too low but no big gap

That light setting was exactly what sold me on this color. Was looking, on that gloomy day, to purchase either a white or a silver, when a Rapid Red, just prepped for customer delivery, rolled into view. Awestruck, I had to switch to that color.
