I tried to search on this for awhile and didn't find anything similar so I thought I would ask. Daily driving, I have zero issues with charging or the battery itself but when I'm at the track, waiting in the staging lanes, if I turn the car off it won't start back up. It has happened the last two weekends and I can not for the life of me, figure it out. Make a couple passes, let it cool down for about an hour, starts right back up until I get to the staging lanes and cut it off while waiting and it's dead in the water when i try to start it back up. Once it's jumped off, it fires right up and I don't have any other issues.
I have checked to make sure nothing is plugged into any of the ports, my radio is off, as well as my lights when running at the track. Just at a loss for words and tired of this thing dying. Does this sound like a weak battery issue or an under powered alternator issue? Any help or advise would be great. It is quite embarrassing to have to jump off a brand new vehicle in the staging lanes.
