12.9 is totally possible stock GT PP with a lil burn out and a solid launch.

With all my IRS upgrades I only went from 12.99 to 12.93

Stock tires suck at the strip . I was able go put down a bunch of 1.9 60s by going around the water and doing a dry hop just to get the dirt off the tires ..Air the tires down to 30 PSI and pray ... I went the best of 12.50s on the stock rubber in a 2000+ foot DA .. Might have been easier with a auto 6 speed...Just so you don't think I'm talking out of my ass I have been drag racing sense 1972 .. :)

It's tricky learning to launch the car on a manual trans also. You gotta learn to ride the clutch out slowly. Dropping the clutch quickly will only ending up with tire spin. Try taking the car up to 2500RPMs and riding out the clutch. I bet the sixty will come down.

i pull 1.7x on stock pp tires, auto
You need to share your secret with everyone else. 1.9s are as good as it gets for me on the all seasons. I did cut a few high 1.8s on the zeros when we had them on the wife's Camaro SS.

well good track prep of course, manual car you gotta abuse the hell out of the clutch most people won't, with my eb auto finding the boost vs spin vs bog vs when to go full throttle vs letting of the brake :) actually kinda hard to drive the auto eb. I guess the only "secret" would be finding the right tire pressure and heat combo. you do need some heat in performance street tires, I don't care what anyone else tells you, finding the right amount is the key, same with pressures.

Ok so basic drag racing stuff. I'm going to bolt some slicks under this b!tch and collect some 11 second slips. These skinny all season Neros are proving to be to much of a challenge. LOL. All though I still believe my car has a few 10ths left in it before I swap tires.
