So today my CEL light came on...coincidentally, today my radio wont turn on, either.
During ownership of my s550, it has happened before that for some ODD reason the radio just doesnt work...its happened at least 5-8 times during my ownership - about 3 years.
Today when I first turn on the car to go to the store, the radio just remained in with the black background, only displaying time and date - no radio , media, , nothing. What I noticed, too , is the sound of the seat belt alarm, it sounds different.
About an hour or 2 later , my CEL came on.
Now, my car wont auto start, either, and a little red light flashes on the fob...
I just ordered batteries for the key fob (energizer 2025 lithium)..
Could a low batter key fob be the cause of the car acting funny and CEL? or is this something else? car battery giving out?
