Radio unit buttons not working .

Hey everyone,

I was plugging the HDMI cable to run Apple CarPlay on modication unit that I bought last year. I didn’t remove the console fullly , just removed the top 2 screws and than CarPlay was working fine. But I later realized none of the button were working . There was not even light blue button which shows during dark.
My touch screen buttons are working fine but only A/c controls are not working.
So there is no way I could turn on the A/C . My ignition button is working fine along with flasher button.

If anyone knows what could have gone wrong please let me know

Sorry to hear about this.

Apparently, these kind of issues happen. It has happened to me. I was very careful when I installed my after-market stereo. and my board did the exact same thing as your has. The only option, I have is to find a used one. you might try a wrecking yard or Ebay. It appears one can be had for about 100.00.
