Here comes a good question now.... since it has the post 911 integration.... when you link up your phone to the car.... is there a signal booster integrated through the sync or something? Or antenna extended through the car...

it's a bump on the roof. Convertibles won't be able to listen to the radio, Sirius, or use navigation with the top down.

The bump on the roof is satellite only, the regular radio has a "Diversity" antenna which would look something like the lines in the rear defroster but with an odd pattern.

Far more simple - just initiates a Bluetooth call via your phone to '911'. Although, not all 911 systems (actually, few) are upgraded to take GPS coordinates over the phone. I'm curious if it recites them verbally and says 'ohsh*t ohsh*t ohsh*t accident at 89.83094820, 75.0293842' or something to that effect. I hope to never find out

They triangulate you using your phone signal. That's how they got Saddam.:D

Me too...lol... yeah... I am fuc$#d up the poop shoot... if someone ever got rear ended...lol
