New to the forum, mostly stalked before. I'm wondering if anyone has installed or built their own radiator ducting for their S550? I'm looking for inspiration or ideas to tackle the project while there is still snow on the ground here in Minnesota. Appreciate any help or opinions from anyone, thanks.

Radiator ducting?

What are you trying to attempt? More direct air into the rad?

Track car or daily driver?

it’s not quite a dedicated track car but it does see it during the summer. The goal is to cut down on the turbulent air and aim it into the radiator and intercooler

Painstaking process but worth the work. This is 0.040” aluminum and is plenty stiff once bent up and bolted together.
Thank you, this is exactly what I’m looking to accomplish, looks good. I plan on getting started with making a rough mock-up this weekend.

Yeah make it from cardboard templates first and then transfer to your final material of choice.

How's the air under the hood while driving now? I know a lot of track guys struggle with venting the large amount of air that gets trapped under the hoods of these cars and they've started blocking off as much of the grille as possible while still being able to keep the car cool.

I also have a racelouvers hood vent that works well so no issues with hood lift.
