Yellow is the only other color I would consider for the calipers. But to be honest, you can't miss that giant red 6 piston caliper, contrasted by a black wheel. By the way, the calipers are really cheap and there is no down time like when you have them sent to get powder coated. What do you guys think of the red calipers on a red car? I was going to paint mine but I saw a Track pack with it and im not 100% sure I liked it.
I'm debating yellow or white.Yellow is the only other color I would consider for the calipers. But to be honest, you can't miss that giant red 6 piston caliper, contrasted by a black wheel. I have a mag grey/black but every time I see a race red/white I think that is the best color on the GT350. Nice work. Are you running the stock rubber on those wheels? Wondering if you lost some sidewall height? An additional pic I took today

Thanks man! Yup stock tires. Going to roll with PS4S later down the road though once I replace these. Honestly the sidewall looks about the same to me as far as height.I have a mag grey/black but every time I see a race red/white I think that is the best color on the GT350. Nice work. Funny you should bring that up.@Epiphany your rear bumper gaps look great. Did you do something to fix them or just got lucky? I also like that de-badged look - is that permanent for you? I recall you were working on a custom badge.
Such a beautiful pic man. I know you shoot with the 6D (getting the 6D Mark II btw? lol), but what lens are you using again?Funny you should bring that up.
I picked up two of Dean Martin's crew members a couple of days ago and gave them a brief tour of Niagara Falls and had some interesting discussions with them over a hearty lunch. Among other things, we touched on panel fitment of the S550 in comparison to the S197. I think everyone agreed that the earlier chassis had better fitment and quality. What was funny is that they asked me if I had the front fascia off, and I had. I commented on the one stinking hidden screw that attaches the fascia to the fender, near the rear of each headlight. Apparently they struggle with them too and they become a nightmare each time the car gets tapped. They also cringe each time the hoods get mangled as they are ridiculously expensive, even for Dean.
I'm not happy with the rear bumper fitment where the fascia meets the fender but I suppose mine isn't as bad as some of the others I have seen. Ford can do better here and this should definitely be on the list of improvements that the S650 should see over the S550.
I was just down in Georgia for about a week with George from MGW. The above shot is at his factory and was taken just after we installed his latest GT350 shifter and removed the prototype I have had in there since last year. I brought a new factory upper grille assembly with me as I wanted to discuss with him doing some badging. He wanted to see how it interfaces with the grille as much as I have already done all the CAD work. Suffice it to say, he's a pretty busy guy but if he can squeeze it in there should be blanks available whereby the customer can deviate a bit from stock in terms of the snake or verbage below it. If it happens, you'll know. I promise.
