A couple iPhone pics of my car now that I got it back and I'm breaking in the new engine.
Looks great, glad you got it back and running well.

I like to disassemble things.
What's your camera setup and what settings were you shooting with?

firestarter2 did you shoot those photos handheld? Generally a tripod is used for lowlight shots if you want it to be sharp. Just to cover the basics, in that lighting I would use a tripod and shoot in aperture priority mode (name on camera varies by manufacturer, typically "Av" mode), and try a low ISO (say 100-400). It also helps to use the timer function (or a remote shutter) so you don't induce shake in the image from actually hitting the shutter, my camera has a 2 sec timer that I use for static tripod shots (since I don't use a remote shutter). Your camera will take a "long exposure", letting the sensor collect a lot more light, it'll likely be slower than 1/60 sec, therefore a tripod will help out a ton.

You can get rid of some noise in an editor (Adobe Lightroom, etc). I've self taught myself all of this over the years from free material online. Good luck! Obviously Epiphany and altjx would be great resources to get advice from too!

From the "Texas 1/2 Mile Shootout" WannaGoFast event today. I didn't run, maybe next year. My car's dirty and I'm using cheap lenses (18-55 kit lens and a cheap 75-300 without IS, and my Canon T2i), I need to try harder sometime and clean up my car!

Some where on the floor I need to get a tripod though, I was trying to be steady. Thanks for the tips

Winter wheels. I like the stock ones too. Nothing like a little variety every 6 months. The gloss black 6 GR R-Specs are AMAZING.

Agreed Epiphany, kairojya great tips and thanks too man!
firestarter2 feel free to hit me up whenever btw if you need to. I'm also using a Canon 6D and just like you, I've just been getting better and better as well over time. Definitely going to want a tripod though -- that's like a must have in low light situations, haha. Every now and again I find myself being lazy and not using one, but I usually have to take like 6-7 of the same pictures to get 1 clear shot without a tripod in those situations, lol.

Found a new spot that I'm planning on getting some sick shots from in the upcoming days. Gonna have to take some friends with me though. Place is sketchy. Here's one from Saturday:

Is it just me or do some of the cars look like they have positive camber in the rear?
