I have been seriously looking for a gt 350 for 6 months. I wanted a R. I could not find one however at what I consider an okay markup of 5 to 6 thousand do primary to the possible value down the road. I was working the phones pretty good calling a couple dozen dealers emailing more. Anyways my driving habits are more in tune to standard gt 350. I have found a bunch all at msrp or above. I did agreed to pay msrp when my fully optioned LB arrives in 30 days. one dealer I found 4 weeks ago had a gt 350 AG color did not do anything for me. However he did have a 17 White R sitting next to it that he said was sold for 30 grand over sticker. I could not believe it! Anyway I was in the area yesterday and thought the R might still be there and I would make a cash offer at 6 grand over sticker. To my surprise the R was gone to guy who agreed to pay 30 over and the AG was gone at 500 over sticker. So there you have it prices remain firm so it seems on regular gt350 and R mania continues.

It is the perception that 18 will be the last MY for the 350.

Sadly, I am not so sure of that anymore. Some people are going to be very disappointed IMHO. (Not a fact, but just what I am hearing)

I originally thought they were going to do a 2 year run of the GT350(not counting the hundred~ they made for 2015).

I'm over it, I'm just enjoying my car for what it is: My eye and ear candy. Also stress reliever.

Whats the latest gossip?
Im thinking it will be another track car ie: boss. I suppose they could do a refresh and run tge 350 2 more years. Maybe they can get the rear bumper not to sag this time.

Who knows what Ford will do. For me I'm going to see what 2019 holds for the GT500. If nothing shows up then maybe a trip to Fathouse Fabrications for a little GT350 twin turbo action

With all the spy shots/threads on multiple forums a GT500/high HP mustang SHOULD be happening. Was also led to believe a mach 1 and possibly a Boss. We'll see but one thing for certain ford isnt saying anything directly.

rule #1, don't believe anything dealer told you....

I call BS on $30k over. probably something like $15k over. $20k tops (I doubt it)...

You are maybe underestimating the number of people out there willing to buy what they want regardless of the cost.

Not sure. I have been told i can buy a 68,400R for 84,000 out the door. That's roughly 10,000 adm assuming 7% tax on sale price.
My thoughts are to wait 6 months and see what economy is doing as the experts are predicting a downturn from what i have read. If true, I expect the demand to drop dramatically.
Truth is, I have no clue. Hoping to buy an 18R for less than i can currently buy a 17.
Tomorrow is an exciting day for me as i will pick up my 18 Raptor if they have had time to paint fender flares!

Just can't get enuff!
I personally met 2 folks this year who both paid a high ADM on an R... one at 25k for an AG-R and another at 30K for a SB-R. Both were not ashamed admitting it nor had any regrets afterwards... plus they could afford it and it was the right car they wanted.

To this day, they fully enjoy their cars respectively.... it's all good at the end of the day. That was their decision. Just like for those and like some of us here who luckily got an R below/at/or near msrp. Just enjoy the car, period, no matter how much you paid.

So, for shits and giggles today after doing some bodybuilding and detailing the Roush a bit, I did a search for 2017 GT350R cars.
HOLY SMOKES!!!!!! :eyebulge: :eyebulge:
I didn't realize the markup on those cars. It's insane. I didn't get too deep into the search, but I found one about 2 miles away and they were asking OVER 100K for it with electronics package, which is what I want. I found 2 or 3 other R's, all at over 100K.
If that's a precursor for the new GT500 car, looks like I'm not getting either one of these cars. :headbonk:

Tax is paid on ADM. It is part of the transaction and therefore the government wants their piece.
