R for 5k over is realistic?

I’m sure many would disagree with me. I just can’t bring myself to pay MSRP on a vehicle, let alone additional dealer mark up. If that means I won’t have the latest and greatest then so be it.

As consumers we should be a smarter group and not allow crap like this to continue and instead direct buisness to those dealers who sell at sticker.

Good for you. I think it's safe to conclude that you just don't want one bad enough and are willing to sit on the sidelines while others enjoy their Shelby's. I just couldn't do that- and have no regrets.

I certainly respect your position but if you have interest in a new R model you have virtually no chance of purchasing one at less than MSRP and even MSRP is a stretch at the best of times.

I'm not sure what there is to be smarter about here? This is a basic economic principle at play. The demand for GT350Rs is greater than the available supply.

The dealer i bought my R from had it for 30k over. They will negotiate with a person willing to buy but getting one at sticker is like being a 5 and having a girlfriend that is a solid 10. Sure it happens but it’s extremely rare.

It's all relative on what one's definition of 10 is... Your 10 girlfriend might be a 7 in my eyes ...

Yeah i thought last year i could get on for MSRP, i look back and think how stupid i was. I just bit the bullet and said here take my extra 7000
